If it's any help, clicking on Reports (in the left sidebar) > Cases > Missing Progress Notes already provides a list of missing progress notes that is fully customizable by date range, staff, and client(s). In a real way, this list is a more comprehensive at-a-glance reminder than a calendar-based note reminder system because the calendar can give you at most one month's appointments status per page, whereas the Missing Progress Notes list is not limited to one month's entries.

The start time is already displayed in Progress Notes based on your calendar entry, and the session duration in minutes is selectable on the note. Doesn't that already supply the needed session duration information?

The current font in the dropdown menus is really tiny and difficult to read, e.g., Service Type options, Repeated Appointment options, and Date/Time options. There is plenty of room in the dropdown menu boxes for a larger, more readable font.
