What we need is the entire appointment block itself to have the ability to be a different color based on the type of appointment. For weekly appointments I'd like to assign one color, for bi weekly another color, monthly, non-clinical things like meetings, etc. MediSoft has this ability when you schedule an appointment in the calendar, there's a drop down list that allows you to select the color. Then the entire appointment block for that client or meeting shows up as that color. This way at a glance you can see what appointment is what.

I've been asking for this since I started using this software. I was in a very large group practice before with a much more robust software that allowed us to designate a color for different types of appointments. We did this practice-wide so that, at a glance, anyone could see if that therapist had a new patient opening weekly, an every other week opening, weekly vs EOW clients, meetings, personal items, out of office, etc. The various colors, once you get to know what color is for what, was helpful in being able to determine someone's availability much quicker. This should absolutely be a basic feature of this software. Just add a drop down choice of colors when creating an appointment. Let the user determine which colors will be used for what, including allowing us to create a custom label for each color. This really is long overdue.

This would be VERY helpful. We used to use a different software in an old practice, and it was easy to see at a glance the different types of appointments. One color was used for openings available for reschedules, another color for new intakes, one color for weekly and a different color for biweekly, etc. It makes it much quicker and easier to view your calendar and quickly see where you have what type of openings or clients.

It would be great to have little notification badges in TheraNest so that it's easier to see where we need to direct our attention. For example, in the Claims section, it would be nice to see something there, and then once you click on it to go into all the tabs (Awaiting Submission, Submitted, Rejected, etc.), there should also be a notification badge on the tabs that need attention. This way, if a claim was rejected, or sitting in ERA Received, it will be obvious, as opposed to manually checking every day just in case. Perhaps it would also be useful to have one in "Paid/Processed" as well, so that we know to click there and double check the processed claims.
